Montana: A Glacier Park Trip, part 2
We are back from a week in Montana, 40 miles from the Canadian border, where I visited my second American national park.
The melting glaciers are so powerful to see as the park transitions into Springtime. Each night, the sun would set after we went to bed, 11 PM and even later!

Glacier holds 25 glaciers, which are expected to disappear completely by the year 2020. The park once held over 180 glaciers at the founding of Glacier National Park in the 1910s.

The wildlife was my favorite part of our hikes, getting to be part of the beauty of untouched nature, seeing the terrain through the eyes of the creatures who depended on it for survival.

Read more in my series about Glacier National Park in upcoming posts, and a previous post here with a recipe for Montana Banana Buzz frappe.
