The Cellar Review

IMG_0358[1]
My husband and his date night bowtie
Sam and I went on a second date for our Valentine’s day to The Cellar, a small offshoot of the famous Stained Glass restaurant in downtown Evanston, at  820 Clark St, Evanston, IL 60201

As if I need  another reason to love living in Evanston, the food life and restaurant variety is chill here.

The Cellar is a more affordable, but still chic, tapas restaurant that shares the same kitchen with the Stained Glass. It’s located a block north of Evanston’s movie theater, and a block north of the Davis purple line stop.

Each time we have dined here, we’ve enjoyed clever dish mashups, new takes on old favorites, and rolled the dice on a never before tried food!

French onion fondue,

Cuttlefish for me,

Korean BBQ ribs for Sam

and a creme brulee trio!

I highly recommend our new favorite date night spot.
