I have wanted to write a blog since I knew blogs existed, since I discovered A Cup of Jo while lounging on Sidney’s bed with my 15 year old besties. What I love about writing is that I can capture an abstract thought I otherwise would have blurted out in an untoward fashion – or worse, kept silent for myself.
However, I struggled with starting a blog because I doubted my value as a writer and the value of my opinions.
I decided that now was a good of a time as any, and felt inspired after seeing the content and consistency of a friend’s blog.
How do I write a blog that people want to read, and portrays a piece of myself?
I thought that a blog worth reading should shed light onto the little corners of my life that make me happy- a cute date night, valuable life advice, my inspirations.
In turn, I spread ideas that bring fun and freedom to you, and those with whom you share share life!
What do you like to share online, and where do you draw the line? Have you ever considered blogging? I think it’s such a unique platform to share, compared to social media sites.
You have such a great written voice- talented lady! I think balancing the wanting to be authentic but also wanting to maintain some privacy is the hardest part for me.
